Message From President
I extend my warm greetings to all of you as the President of the Association of Engineering Colleges Nepal (AECoN). As we move forward into a new era of growth and progress, I am honored to lead this esteemed organization that has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of engineering education in our beloved nation.
AECoN brings together the finest engineering colleges in Nepal and fosters its spirit of collaboration, innovation and academic excellence. We aim to elevate Nepalese engineering education to a world-class level, enhancing the reputation and competitiveness of engineering programs. By actively promoting educational reforms and actively finding ways to provide employment opportunities, AECoN endeavors to strengthen the future prospects of our students and contribute to the overall growth and progress of the engineering community in Nepal.
Our association plays a vital role in the engineering education of Nepal as it connects numerous engineering colleges and move forward with common goal and unity. In the past, the engineering landscape solely relied on government colleges. However, the establishment of the private engineering colleges led to a substantial increase in opportunities for the students willing to join the engineering field in the country. The private owned colleges have led to significant rise in the number of engineering graduates in Nepal. These advancements have not only provided students with more opportunities and scholarships but have also proven to be highly beneficial for the country’s economy.
